Psalm 3:5-8
5 I lay down and slept;
I woke again, for the Lord sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of many thousands of people
who have set themselves against me all around.7 Arise, O Lord!
Save me, O my God!
For you strike all my enemies on the cheek;
you break the teeth of the wicked.8 Salvation belongs to the Lord;
your blessing be on your people! Selah
Let’s think about verse 5 – I lay down and slept…. We are at peace because we know that God is with us – He is our Salvation! It also talks about waking again – God is in control. He is protecting us – He is the Great Physician, He is Sovereign…. David is praising God for ALL of these things!!!
Can you say these things? Are you confident that God is our Salvation? Are you confident that He will give you peace? How about sustaining you?
As in Psalm 1:3 but his delight is in the lawb] of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. Are you resting in HIS Promises???
