I am reading through the Psalms and other passages & I have been seeinga lot of references to worship. How do you worship God? Do You sing praises to His name? Do you shout for Joy to God, our Maker?
Psalms 95:1-6. Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
This is one of the passages I read today. It is so full of energy & worship to our God! We are to sing to the Lord- by making a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation! It does not say- You can only sing if you have a beautiful voice-it says make a joyful noise! What is a “joyful” noise? Is it singing with enthusiasm or …? We are praising our glorious Savior . He died, our place, for our sins – & He rose again- death could not keep Him! That should get our joy bubbling over!
How thankful are you to God for choosing to save you? God has given us a free gift – our saving from- punishment, that we so deserve. Jesus paid the price, when He died on the cross. Our sin & punishment are NO more -Iesus paid for them all -He has set us free from the bondage of sin. We now have the freedom to step out of the prison cell! Jesus has given us freedom! let us rise up and give God a joyful noise of thanks giving, or thanks “living” as my daughter told me last night.
We have so much we can be thankful . The Bible says to give thanks in ALL circumstances – that is the good & the bad. We are to fix our eyes on Jesus- He is our Risen Savior. We can do all things three Him who gives us strength! Let’s make a Joyful noise to our God!
