Psalm 1:4-6
4 The wicked are not so,
but are like chaff that the wind drives away.5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;
6 for the Lord knows the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.
It has been almost a month since I have been able to post. We were attacked by spammers, so we did a clean install of WordPress. Then trying to get everything up and running… there has been a lot of glitches along the way. It seems like recently I have been putting out a LOT of fires. It has been one thing or another getting me distracted from doing other things (or taking up ALL of my time). So does that mean the enemy is winning? Sometimes it does appear that way. It is a battle, but we DO KNOW who the Victor is!!! Verse 5 is an eye opener on things to come… “Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;”… This IS sad news for the wicked. This also should be motivation for us to get busy – we need to share the Good News to those who are perishing…. for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish….
I thank the Lord for the reminders that He is always faithful in reminding me of the work that I need to be doing! How about you?
