Galatians 5:22-23 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
What is peace? Peace is a state of tranquility or quiet.
In Isaiah 26:3 God has promised us… “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on YOU, because he trust in YOU.” What a wonderful promise! When we are trusting God, our problems don’t seem that big, because God is bigger….
In Psalms 4:8 we also find, “In peace, I will both lie down and sleep; for YOU alone LORD, make me dwell in safety!” Jesus reflected this when He was sleeping in the boat and the storm came upon them. When the disciples awoke Him, He spoke to the storm saying, “Peace! Be Still”
We CAN have peace in the midst of chaos, when we are trusting in the Wonder Working Power of God!!!
